The circuit for an electrical machine involves connection to an alternating current supply and incorporates an on and off switch. When the switch is closed in a first position, the components in the machine are supplied with a feed voltage, which involves a drive current flowing through a rotor and a stator, driving the machine in normal usage. - A control component regulates during operation a speed for the rotor with the aid e.g. of anti-parallel thyristors and controls the drive current for the machine from the outside, dependent upon how hard the maneuvering component is pressed inwards by the user. This component is coupled to the on and off switch, which closes as soon as the maneuvering component is inwardly pressed. The rotor is fed with current via commutators. The stator is fed with current and produces a magnetic field to drive the machine. When the on and off switch is opened, the drive current for the machine is interrupted. The control component provides a control signal via a mono-stable rocker to a first current valve, causing a first brake current to flow through a first brake current circuit comprising the current valve and the rotor. |
