PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground improvement method comprising mixing a stratum with a solidifying slurry to cause solidification at the time of excavation, which prevents a dehydration phenomenon and permits erection of a core material even after a long time elapsed. SOLUTION: The ground improvement method comprises adding a dehydration-reducing agent to a solubilizing water for the solidifying slurry to impart a dehydration-reducing property to the mixture of the excavated earth with the solidifying slurry.
