PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-handle insect pest trap utilizing an adhesive and an attracting lamp, ensuring the adhesive not to sag. SOLUTION: The trap comprises a trap case(1) and a holder body(2). In this trap, the trap case(1) is composed of a base board(5) with a trapping adhesive layer(4) on the surface of a base material sheet and so designed that the top face is opened and the adhesive layer(4) is exposed on the inner surface, and the holder body(2) has an opening support(20) supporting the rim(12) of the opening(7) of the trap case(1) and a bottom support(19) engaged with the bottom(15) of the trap case(1), wherein the bottom support(19) is turnably pivoted on the main body and equipped with a cold anodic fluorescent lamp as the attracting lamp(26) and also provided with a reflective plate(36) on the top face.
