PURPOSE: A packet scheduler using a calendar memory and a driving method thereof are provided to array plural packets inputted outside by commonly using a register and an embedded memory according to a calculated output time, and to output the arrayed packet, thereby reducing an amount of a hardware logic circuit. CONSTITUTION: A calendar memory(140) comprises as follows. A block calendar memory(141) has a 2-dimensional array by being divided into certain sections. An idle address memory(142) shows a position of the first idle time slot of each block. An idle flag(143) shows that idle time slots exist in the corresponding blocks. A busy address memory(144) stores an address of the first busy time slot of each block. A busy flag(145) shows that busy time slots exist in the corresponding blocks.
