摘要 PURPOSE: An optical waveguide laminated printed circuit board, an optical connection block structure, and a method for manufacturing optical waveguide layer are provided to prevent a polymer optical waveguide from being damaged. CONSTITUTION: An optical waveguide laminated printed circuit board(1) implements an active photoelectric element transmitting/receiving optical signal. The optical waveguide laminated printed circuit board includes electric circuit board layers(4,5), an optical waveguide layer(6), a hole(8), and an optical connection block. The electric circuit board layers are made of an insulating substrate and copper films having conductive pattern formed thereon, and implement the active photoelectric elements(7) on the circuit board. The optical waveguide layer is laminated between the electric circuit board layers. The hole is formed from a portion where the photoelectric elements are implemented to the optical waveguide layer. The optical connection block is inserted into the hole and includes a reflective surface which is tilted on a portion corresponding to the optical waveguide layer in order to form an optical connection path from the optical waveguide and the active photoelectric elements. An optical signal from the active photoelectric elements is reflected to the optical waveguide layer, and then is further reflected to the active photoelectric element.
