PURPOSE: A record media cartridge is provided to reduce a contact area of an overlapped face between an inner rotor and a shutter for smoothly moving a pair shutter, and to reinforce stepped parts exposed on a surface and a back of the shutters when the shutters are closed. CONSTITUTION: The cartridge comprises a housing, a data record media(3), an inner rotor(4), a pair of shutters(5a,5b), an opening part(6), plural ribs(81), stepped parts(50,52), overlapped parts(51a,51b). The ribs(81), installed at an overlapped position between the shutters(5a,5b) and the inner rotor(4), reduce a contact area. The overlapped parts(51a,51b) are installed at a side wall of the shutters(5a,5b) via the stepped parts(50,52). If the side wall is overlapped, the first overlapped part(51a) of the shutter(5a) is linked to the first overlapped part(51a) of the shutter(5b) via the fist stepped part(50) and the second overlapped part(51b) of the shutter(5a) is linked to the second overlapped part(51b) of the shutter(5b) via the second stepped part(52) so the opening part(6) is closed.
