PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AGP bus system capable of performing access from another CPU to an internal register, and for releasing failure factors by state confirmation even in a state that access by an AGP bus has become impossible due to any failure of the AGP device. SOLUTION: Access to the internal register having the operation setting, execution command, and state information of the AGP device 5 is made possible not only by an interface with the AGP bus 4 but also by another internal register interface 11 from another CPU 12. Even when any failure is caused in the AGP device 5, access to the internal register is performed by using not the interface with the AGP bus 4 but the internal register interface 11, so that error information recognized by the AGP device 5 can be confirmed.
