PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to automatically select any desired one of a plurality of incoming call tones or images, and to avoid the situation that a specific incoming call tone or image is not selected for a long time. SOLUTION: Incoming call tones or images and program numbers as numbers used to specify respective incoming call tones or images are stored in a memory of a cellular phone so as to be set in correspondence to each other. The program numbers contain information indicating the order thereof. A control unit of the cellular phone, whenever an incoming call is received, increases a value of a counter by one, and specifies an incoming call tone or image corresponding to the program number corresponding to the value of the counter as an incoming call tone or image used for the incoming call received at that time.
