FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improvement of method for preparing 2-furylcarboxylic acid used in manufacturing reagents, medicinal preparations, agrochemical reagents, resins and other production. 2-Furylcarboxylic acid is prepared by oxidation of furfurol with hydrogen peroxide using alcohol, in azeotropic distilling off water in the presence of carboxylic acid salts using alcohol that is able to form heterogeneous azeotrope with water and fractional addition of sodium acetate in an aqueous hydrogen peroxide to the reaction mass. Method provides explosion safety of process, reducing resin formation, reducing time of process and, therefore, to elevate the yield of product for the time unit by many times. ^ EFFECT: improved preparing method. ^ 1 ex |
