Femoral part formation assembly for total hip prosthesis, has orifices with depth such that it permits to locate centre of curvature of three spherical femoral heads on three possible positions along longitudinal axis of cervix

The assembly has two femoral pieces (1, 1) with intra-medullary stems (2, 2) and cervixes (3, 3). Three spherical femoral heads (8) have a respective orifice (7) for fitting the heads on the cervixes. The orifices have a depth such that it permits to locate the centre of curvature of the heads on three possible positions along a longitudinal axis of the cervix. The assembly has three axes (AA, BB, CC) passing through the positions, when the femoral parts are superposed.
