PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothespin suspending device which is used to dry small and heavy laundry and large laundry (long articles) such as sheets, blankets, and cotton blankets or the like, occupying a large area, takes up little space because of the compact size when not in use, and is convenient since the clothespin suspending device is used as a portable one. SOLUTION: A core body 2 for a clothesline is inserted in a coiled wire rod 1 with a pitch P varied by tension or compression, and a necessary number of clothespins 3 are positioned to move and not to fall by inserting the core rod 1 in a pinching part 33 of the clothespin 3 or a pendent member of the clothespin 3. The coiled wire rod 1 has the end parts covered with a member 11 increasing the frictional resistance and is engaged and fixed to the core body 2 for the clothesline not to move by deforming the end parts into a slanting shape to make the appearance of the diameter small.
