PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotatable display device and a method for adjusting an image on the display screen of the device. SOLUTION: The rotatable display device includes a command input unit, a display unit, a pivot processor, and a controller. The command input unit allows a user to input an image adjustment command, and the display unit displays images on a display screen. The pivot processor rotates the image of an input signal according to the rotating direction of the display unit and outputs signals of the rotated images to the display unit. The controller adjusts the images on the display screen according to a relationship between the image adjustment command and the rotating direction of the display unit. The image adjustment command input by the user is so processed as to adjust the images on the display screen, and consequently the user is able to easily adjust the images on the display screen by using the same adjustment command or key irrespective of whether the display unit is rotated.
