A combination structure of a footrest for preventing injuries of ankles of drivers is provided to restrict the ankles from being wounded by adjusting freely the rotational angle of the footrest by an angle regulating member. In an automatic transmission-mounted vehicle having a footrest(1) for repressing a tendency to operate an accelerator pedal with the driver's left foot by relieving the left foot, a lower end of the footrest is hung and restricted by a holding bracket(11) fixed on a floor. An upper end of the footrest is fastened to a dash panel by a first hinge shaft(12) to rotate the footrest when the footrest is separated from the holding bracket. An angle regulating member is combined on a rear side of the footrest to prevent drivers' ankles from being wounded according to the rotational angle of the footrest and the dash panel when offset of the dash panel is generated in a collision.
