A method for controlling an Internet access of a home pad and the home pad thereof are provided to enable an authentication server to separately manage access limit attributes according to each user, and to maintain the managed attributes of the users whenever the users utilize the attributes, thereby supplying a custommade service. A home pad receives personal information from each user(S1), and performs an A/D conversion for images and voices of the users(S2). An authentication performer registers the images and the voices as user authentication information(S3). When an Internet access request is received, an Internet driver displays an Internet access window(S4,S5). The authentication performer activates a window for requesting the images and the voices to be inputted(S6). An image/voice processor processes the images/voices(S7,S8). The performer requests user authentication(S9), and retrieves whether an Internet security option file is received(S10). If so, the performer stores the file(S11). The driver accesses an Internet site(S12). An Internet monitor decides whether a site corresponding to a user security rank is requested(S13). If so, the monitor maintains an operation of the driver(S14).
