PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent fraudulent use of a player by judging whether or not a Karaoke player is an fraudulent terminal based on ID information of the Karaoke player. SOLUTION: ID information of a Karaoke player of which the fraudulent use is proved is preliminarily registered in a Karaoke host device 12. When a predetermined ID is imparted to the Karaoke player 10, a measurement means 17 measures predetermined events, for example, playing time of a musical piece, or performance frequency of the musical piece, registration frequency of a reserved musical piece, a use period or use time of the Karaoke player. Then, use of the Karaoke player 10 is prohibited after a measurement value of the measurement means 17 reaches a predetermined value. However, continuous use of the Karaoke player 10 is made possible by initializing the measurement means 17 when communication of specific data is terminated when a communication control means 13 performs communication with the Karaoke host device 12 before the measurement value of the measurement means 17 reaches the predetermined value or after it reaches the predetermined value and when the ID imparted to the Karaoke player 10 is not the unauthorizedly used ID registered in the Karaoke host device 12.
