PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium iron phosphate positive electrode material with which a lithium ion secondary battery good in cycle characteristics can be manufactured.SOLUTION: A lithium iron phosphate positive electrode material includes a conductive carbon-coated layer on a surface of a primary particle of lithium iron phosphate represented by general formula LiFePO, the conductive carbon-coated layer being formed by subjecting carbon-coated raw materials to thermal decomposition. In a cycle test of a lithium ion secondary battery that is manufactured by using the lithium iron phosphate positive electrode material, the lithium iron phosphate positive electrode material has such a characteristic that a discharge capacity (mAh/g) after repeated cycles increases by 1% or more than that after an initial cycle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
