PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus having a diagnostic support function for supporting an objective and quantitative diagnosis on whether a tumor formed in the tissue of a subject is benignant or malignant, based on image information on the subject. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises a B-mode image data generating part 24 and a Doppler image data generating part 25 for generating image information on the subject based on a plurality of ultrasonic echoes; a secondary storage part 26 storing image information generated by the B-mode image data generating part and the Doppler image data generating part; a criterion value setting part 27a for setting at least one kind of value used for determining at least one kind of evaluation value on the tissue in the subject in regard to the image information stored in the secondary storage part; a determining part 27b for determining the state of the tissue by comparing the evaluation value on the tissue of the subject with the set criterion value; and a display part 31 for displaying an ultrasonic image based on the image information stored in a secondary storage part in an imaging mode and displaying a determined result in the determining part in a diagnostic support mode.
