摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autocorrelator which is not affected by a measurement environment and an adjustment of optical system is unnecessary. SOLUTION: On a substrate 11, an input waveguide 12a for inputting the pulse light A, a directional optical coupler 13 for branching the pulse light, and two waveguides 14a, 14b for propagating the pulse lights are formed. The tips of the waveguides 14a and 14b are opposed at a point where a groove 16a is made by removing the core and the clad in which two photon fluorescent dyes 16b are inserted. The pulse width of the pulse light is measured by measuring the intensity distribution of the fluorescent light generated by collision of the pulse lights A1 and A2 propagating through the waveguides 14a and 14b.
