The roof ladder is for supporting personnel and/or goods during work operations on a roof provided with laths for roof tiles. The roof ladder comprises support devices to carry a support plate onto the roof for carrying persons and/or goods. The support devices are components for their fixture to the roof laths where there are no tiles located. The ladders (1) are suspended by hooks (12,25), which are displaceable along connectors parallel to a second support component on roof beams (3) and suspend two ladders (5) on roof laths (31).
