<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance impact resistance of a casing for a recording medium, and to reduce the load on the environment. <P>SOLUTION: In the casing for the recording medium, a constituent material including at least a biodegradable resin and a rubber component is used. The mixing amount of the rubber component is adjusted so as to be 1-50 wt.% in the constituent material. Besides the biodegradable resin and the rubber component, the constituent material may further include a hydrolysis prevention agent. Further, in the casing for the recording medium in which the parts thereof having various transparent degrees are constituted by performing multicolor or multilayer molding by varying the proportion of the rubber component in the constituent material, the rubber component of each part is adjusted so as to be gradually smaller as the transparent degree increases (for example, it is adjusted so that the rubber component of each part is in the range of 1-50 wt.%). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
