PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant termite-prevention cable which contains no halogen and has excellent flame retardancy, termite prevention and mechanical characteristics.SOLUTION: There is provided a flame-retardant termite-prevention cable having a sheath provided thereon, where the sheath has an inner layer and an outer layer, the inner layer is formed of a non-halogen polyethylene composition which contains a base polymer (A) containing polyethylene (a1) and a non-halogen flame retardant and has an oxygen index of 30 or more and 40 or less, the outer layer is formed of a non-halogen polypropylene composition which contains a base polymer (B) containing a propylene homopolymer (b1) and a resin component (b2) having a solubility parameter of 7.0 or more and 9.5 or less and a non-halogen flame retardant and has an oxygen index of 20 or more and 27 or less, and the whole oxygen index based on the inner layer and the outer layer is 30 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
