摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and continuously measure concentration of a specific chemical substance or specific drainage by fluorophotometry even when water to be measured contains many suspended solids.SOLUTION: A method for measuring concentration of a specific chemical substance or specific drainage of the present invention: measures fluorescence from the specific chemical substance or the specific drainage in the whole excitation wavelength range from 200 to 800 nm; creates in advance a database in which an excitation wavelength and a fluorescent wavelength at a peak position of fluorescence intensity are recorded; specifies in advance a correlation between fluorescence intensity at an excitation wavelength at a peak position of water to be measured, and a soluble COD amount, concentration of the specific chemical substance, or concentration of the specific drainage in the water to be measured; adds an amphoteric organic flocculant to a sample, obtained by sampling the water to be measured, so as to separate suspended solids contained in the sample; measures fluorescence intensity at an excitation wavelength at a peak position of the sample; and calculates, from the correlation and the measurement result, a soluble COD amount of the specific chemical substance or the specific drainage, concentration of the specific chemical substance, or concentration of the specific drainage in the water to be measured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
