CODED SIGNAL SEPARATING DEVICE, CODED SIGNAL SYNTHESIZING DEVICE, AND CODED SIGNAL SEPARATING AND SYNTHESIZING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coded signal separating device, a coded signal synthesizing device, and a coded signal separating and synthesizing system, capable of performing a scalable transmission of images.

SOLUTION: The scalable transmission of the images can be realized after producing and outputting an independent separated stream St(l) and performing a transmission path selection in response to a network state by providing a separating unit 1100 for separating a coded stream to a basic coded signal B whose coded volume is less than the coded stream and to a plurality of extended coded signals E(m) for restoring the images by using the basic coded signal B with the extended coded signals, and a multiplexing unit 1600 for generating a plurality of transmission coded signals St(l) by randomly combining and multiplexing the basic coded signal B with the plurality of the extended coded signals E(m).
