<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve packet transfer efficiency while preventing an apparatus scale from being expanded. <P>SOLUTION: In a packet transfer apparatus 100 for outputting an input packet which is inputted via an input line 200, via an output line 300, an information management section 112 generates a tag corresponding to connection information which is set between the input line 200 and the output line 300.
