Device and method for collecting data for locating a source of interference

The device (1) has a reception unit (5) that is arranged for receiving an interference frequency on the ground. Three antenna points (2-4) are placed on a satellite e.g. completely autonomous military satellite, so as to receive a radio frequency signal output from a target surface. A processing unit (6) is ready to be levelled with the antenna points so as to determine amplitude of the interference signal for each of the three antenna points. A connection unit (7) is arranged to connect the antenna points to the processing unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a data collection method (2) a method for localization of an interference source.
