<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the alleviation of a work burden of a user and the assurance of security compatible regarding the setting of radio communication equipment. <P>SOLUTION: A manager of a wireless LAN 100 changes a WEP key by a personal computer PC1. The personal computer PC1 judges whether or not a memory card MC is the legitimate one which the manager manages and writes setting information after change in the memory card MC when it is the legitimate one. At this time, the WEP key before the change is written in the memory card MC with the setting information after the change. Then, the manager loads the memory card MC in a memory card slot with which a printer PRT1 is equipped.
