METHOD FOR EVALUATING LINEARITY OF TOUCH PANEL, LINEARITY INSPECTION DEVICE USING THE EVALUATING METHOD AND TOUCH PANEL WHOSE LINEARITY IS EVALUATED BASED ON THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find out linearity coefficients considering both of the X-axis and Y-axis directions of a touch panel.

SOLUTION: In the method for detecting voltage values on a plurality of measuring points set like a matrix and evaluating linearity from these voltage values, a linearity coefficient of an X axis side coordinate reading panel having n measuring points in the Y axis direction and m measuring points in the X axis direction is found out by the calculation expression CXij=(KVi0+(ΔVi/m)×j-Vij)/ΔVi when it is defined that a measured voltage value on a measuring point Pijwhich is the i-th point in the Y axis direction and the j-th point in the X axis direction from a measuring point existing on the upper left corner of the panel is Vijand a linearity coefficient on the measuring point Pijon the X axis side coordinate reading panel is CXij. Similarly when it is defined that a linearity coefficient on the measuring point Pijon a Y axis side coordinate reading panel is CYij, the linearity coefficient of the Y axis side coordinate reading panel is found out by the calculation expression CYij=(KV0j+(ΔVj/n)×i-Vij)/ΔVj.
