<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sensitivity to detect a position of a touch pen from lowering in a display element to which various information data are inputted with the touch pen. <P>SOLUTION: A conductive plate shaped member A<SB>1</SB>is sometimes disposed on the display element P<SB>1</SB>, for example, in the case a metal plate is inserted into the display element as a high strength member. In the case the touch pen is placed on the one side of this kind of display element P<SB>1</SB>and an electromagnetic sensor part is placed on the other side, there is possibility of lowering the sensitivity to detect the position of the touch pen with the sensor part due to occurrence of an eddy current on the metal plate. In this invention, a plurality of through holes 4 are formed on the conductive plate shaped member A<SB>1</SB>in advance, so as to make a magnetic flux sufficiently leak out and consequently the sensitivity to detect the position of the touch pen is not lowered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
