<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a flat harness capable of improving the reliability of mechanical strength at a low cost by restraining an influence of external force to a connection part between the flat harness and a connection terminal as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: This connector 1 for a flat harness comprises a connector housing 10, a retainer 20, the flat harness 30 and a plurality of the connection terminals 40; and the flat harnesses 30 are supported to termination support parts 13, 13 of the connector housing 10. In the termination part of each flat harness 30, insertion hole parts 34 are formed in an insulating cover 32 among respective conductors 31; fitting projection parts 28 are formed on an end face opposite to the connector housing 10 of the retainer 20; and fitting hole parts 18 for fitting the fitting projection parts 28 are formed on facing end faces of the termination support parts 13, 13 of the connector housing 10. Since the fitting projection parts 28 are fitted to the fitting hole parts 18 through the insertion hole parts 34 in complete fitting to the connector housing 10 of the retainer 20, the termination part of each flat harness 30 is firmly fixed to the connector housing 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
