PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal in which communication efficiency is improved by making a user only manage telephone numbers to automatically determine wide-area communication or P2P communication in accordance with a communication condition. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 101 is provided with a mobile phone module part 201 connected to a base station 104 by radio, an input part 204 for use for originating and terminating calls, an output part 205 like a liquid crystal display device, a P2P communication part 206 for connection by P2P communication to another mobile terminal, a control part 207 for determining use of wide-area communication or P2P communication in accordance with a condition, a P2P communication table storage part 208a wherein a P2P communication table having mobile telephone numbers and communication identifiers described therein is recorded, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
