摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for properly controlling clamping pressure even when no slippage is caused by lowering the clamping pressure of a continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: The control device for the continuously variable transmission finds a detected value for the clamping pressure which is lowered to cause slippage between a rotating member and a transmission member and reflects the detected value for the clamping pressure to setting control of the clamping pressure. It comprises a clamping pressure lowering means (Steps S103, S105, S113) for lowering the clamping pressure from pressure higher than initial pressure that predetermined dispersion correcting pressure is added to theoretical clamping pressure found in accordance with an operated condition down to the theoretical clamping pressure, a learning means (Step S108) for obtaining a learned value for the dispersion correcting value in accordance with the detected value for the clamping pressure obtained by the clamping pressure lowering means lowering the clamping pressure down to the theoretical clamping pressure, and a clamping pressure control means (Step S119) for reflecting the learned value to the subsequent control of the clamping pressure.
