摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seating detection device for suppressing reduction in the detection precision of load applied on a seating face of a seat, without impairing the general-purpose properties, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The seating detection device prints a plurality of detection parts 23 connected in series, and the detection part comprises a first wiring 23b provided with a first electrode 23a, and a second electrode 23c. A first film 14, having a branched shape with second wiring 23d connected to an adjacent detection part via an open part 23e printing a fixed resistor 24 in series, a second film forming an opening part, corresponding to the gap between the first and second electrodes and a third film printing an opposite electrode, corresponding to the gap between the first and second electrodes are overlapped. The load, applied to the seating face of the seat is detected, on the basis of the resistors summed a combined resistor at the whole detection part of the fixed resistor and a resistor corresponding to the contact area, between the first and second electrodes and the facing electrode in the opening part.
