It is intended to provide medicinal granules which contain, as the active ingredients, 3 branched amino acids (isoleucine, leucine and valine) and have a small specific volume compared with the existing ones and a process for producing the same. As the results of intensive studies, the above object is achieved by providing granules containing, as the active ingredients, 3 branched amino acids (isoleucine, leucine and valine) and a process for producing the same characterized by comprising adding an acid to a mixture of grains of the 3 branched amino acids (isoleucine, leucine and valine) and then granulating the resultant mixture.
