<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matured compost-like material excellent in handling property by heating and drying an organic waste, followed by a heating treatment. <P>SOLUTION: In this unit, an organic waste and a minute product coming back from a vibrating sieve 41 is completely mixed by a tightly closed mixing unit 10, during the operation, water content of the mixture is kept 20-60%. The mixture is introduced to a heat treatment unit 30 and completely dried and then kept for several hours at 150-200°C. The heat treated product is classified on a vibrating sieve 41, and the minute product is returned to a silo 4 and that retained on a net becomes the product, a matured compost-like material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
