METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SULFUR COMPOUND REMOVING ADSORBENT, SULFUR COMPOUND REMOVING ADSORBENT AND METHOD FOR REMOVING SULFUR COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sulfur compound removing adsorbent capable of efficiently removing a sulfur compound in hydrocarbon fuel or oxygen-containing hydrocarbon fuel even at room temperature until the concentration of the sulfur compound becomes low and to provide the sulfur compound removing adsorbent manufactured by this method and a method for removing the sulfur compound by using the sulfur compound removing adsorbent.

SOLUTION: This sulfur compound removing adsorbent is manufactured by depositing a metal component on a carrier by using a metal-impregnated liquid containing an oxygen-containing compound and/or a nitrogen-containing compound. The sulfur compound in hydrocarbon fuel or oxygen-containing hydrocarbon fuel is removed by using the manufactured sulfur compound removing adsorbent.
