<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus and radio communication method in which the user of the radio communication apparatus is capable of surely performing short-distance radio communication connection with a desired radio communication terminal without deciding whether or not the connection is permitted. <P>SOLUTION: Control sections 30a and 30b of radio communication terminals 1a and 1b transmit their own short-distance radio communication addresses while establishing an infrared communication path (S108, S111), respectively, and the radio communication terminals 1b and 1a receive the addresses (S110, S113). When the radio communication terminal 1a requests short-distance radio communication connection to the radio communication terminal 1b while designating the short-distance radio communication address of the radio communication terminal 1b (S120), the control section 30b of the radio communication terminal 1b compares the designated address with the short-distance radio communication address received in S110 and decides whether or not the connection is to be permitted (S122). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
