<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device which is operable by a gesture operation, using one hand which holds a case. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a sensor 5 which is mounted at a position to be touched with a finger of the hand holding a case, while keeping the hand at a key operable position, for detecting the contact position of the contacting finger; a gesture identifying means 6 for clipping out gestures from the time sequence of touch positions detected by the sensor; and a control means for executing a set of functions corresponding to the combination of gestures clipped out by the gesture identifying means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
