<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device of an engine for a vehicle capable of improving collision safety performance by securing a crush stroke when a vehicle collides even if shape of an intake pipe is complicated, in regard to an intake device of an engine having an intake pipe structured by combining a plurality of divided parts. <P>SOLUTION: A wedge member 41 gives enlarging force to a joining flange 40 of the divided parts 23 and 29, and joint between the divided parts 23 and 29 structuring the intake pipe 20 is peeled to separate the divided parts 23 and 29 from each other.
