PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger which can surely fix an apparatus to be charged, in spite of its simple constitution, and besides can surely prevent current application to a charging terminal at non-charging. SOLUTION: This charger which equipped with a holder H for holding the apparatus to be charged and a charging terminal 2 electrically connected to the input terminal K1 of the apparatus to be charged in a state of holding the apparatus to be charged in the holder H is equipped with a hooking member 3 which can slide to go out or go back at the holder H while abutting upon the apparatus to be charged so as to hook the apparatus to be charged, when holding the apparatus to be charged in the holder H, and a switch which operates in a different direction from the slide direction of the hooking member 3 so as to start the current application to the charging terminal 2, by the hooking member 3 which slides to retreat from the holder H.
