METHOD AND DEVICE OF DESTRUCTION OF POINTED SCAB ON THE WHEEL FLANGE OF THE RAILROAD CAR OF RAIL TRANSPORT

The group of inventions relates to the repair of wheel pairs of railroad car by cutting. The method of destruction of pointed scab on the wheel flange of the railroad car of rail transport includes working the place of appearance of scab, which is achieved during motion of railroad car in operation under normal conditions. Device for said working contains the housing with abrasive insert mounted in it. Housing is mounted with possibility of rolling on the axle connected to the cantilever holder,second end of which is fixed with possibility of adjustment of the overhang and position of holder on additional vertical suspension, fixed on the traverse of the brake rigging of the car opposite the wheel flange. On the lath welded-on to the basic vertical suspension traverse of brake rigging and to fastening of the device of fixation of the position of the brake-block head is installed the spring-loaded guide connected to the housing of device with the shift relative to the axle connected to said holder. Technical result consists in the possibility of conducting selective repair of wheel pairs with different arrangement of the scab without stopping the operation of railroad car.
