PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively constitute a monitoring camera system in which a photographing direction of another camera is controlled according to a photographing direction of a specific camera. SOLUTION: While an interlock button 28 is turned on, a CPU 22 controls a tilt angleθof a master camera 12 in response to the operation of an operating lever 30. A distance from the master camera 12 to a monitoring target Q is then calculated based on the tilt angleθand a position of the master camera 12 (Hm-Δh). Further, a tilt angleϕof a slave camera 14 for photographing the monitoring target Q is calculated based on the distance, a distance L between the master camera 12 and the slave camera 14 and the tilt angleθof the master camera 12.
