<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling transmission between a base station and a mobile station in a wireless system using a plurality of subcarriers. <P>SOLUTION: In a subcarrier allocation system for dividing a total scheduling interval into at least two subintervals, data transmission is carried out using a large number of subcarriers during first interval. A small number of subcarriers are used for transmission during second interval.
