A chair-type massage machine having a body (1) and an input device (2) for inputting various commands to the body (1). A memory (101) of a control portion (11) includes a second memory (101A) where a program for controlling a massager (10) and other mechanisms is stored and a first memory (101B) where commands of various changes from the input device (2) are temporarily stored during massaging. Data stored in the first memory (101B) are wrote and stored, so as to be in correspondence with each user registered by the input device (2), into the second memory (101A) when a massage course is completed. Further, the control portion (11) reads out data, corresponding to a user identified by user-identifying means of the input device (2), from the second memory (101A) and executes a massage program based on the data.
