FIELD: metallurgy; injection treatment of melts with powder and dust materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed feeder has two hoppers with materials charging devices and aeration chambers, materials injection chamber with shutoff-and-control device connected with aeration chambers of hoppers. Aeration chambers of hoppers are connected with injection chamber through side charging holes, diameter of each charging hole is 0.05-0.10 of diameter of injection chamber, and capacity of aeration chamber of each hopper is equal to 3.0-10.0 of that of injection chamber. ^ EFFECT: improved stability of regulated delivery of homogeneous mixture of powders or dust into pneumatic transportation line. ^ 2 dwg
