<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of generation of organic acids from wooden materials by which organic acids of a commercial value is generated and recovered efficiently by decomposition at a low manufacturing cost from wooden materials. <P>SOLUTION: The organic acids are generated by a process comprising a pretreatment step in which wooden materials are immersed in an aqueous alkaline solution, a main treatment step in which the pre-treated wooden materials are immersed in the main treatment fluid, the fluid is heated and pressurized to become a sub-critical fluid and the conditions are maintained for a specified period of time and an after-treatment step in which the fluid is cooled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
