PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm for an electroacoustic transducer that realizes high rigidity, while preventing increase in the specific gravity. SOLUTION: The diaphragm for the electroacoustic transducer is formed by heating, pressing, and drying wet paper 1 which is paper-made from slurry resulting from adding aluminum hydroxide 1A to pulp fibers, and is also formed by producing air bubbles 1B inside the pulp fibers through water foaming of crystallization water separated by the dissociation reaction of the water of crystallization of the aluminum hydroxide 1A in a process of heating, pressing and drying the wet paper 1.
