PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document-processing apparatus which can improve the convenience. SOLUTION: The document-processing apparatus holds a document, receives and holds set information regarding the combination of a copy checking pattern for its outputting method or each output destination about respective held documents. The document-processing apparatus performs combining process of the copy checking pattern based on the set information, regarding the combination of the copy checking pattern, set regarding the output method or the output destination, corresponding to the copy checking pattern set regarding the outputting method or the output destination, corresponding to the output designation about the document regarding the output designation, when the output is set about the document.
