PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal that, if a file of content received from a content providing server is an unexpandable file although it has been received normally in a predetermined format, can distinguish the unexpandable file from damaged files and notify a user of the existence of the unexpandable file. SOLUTION: The mobile communication terminal (cell phone 10) has a content receiving means 111 and a display means 112. The content receiving means 111 receives from the content providing server (download server 50) a file of content that needs to be expanded. When the file of content received by the content receiving means 111 is an unexpandable file that has been normally received in the predetermined formant and that cannot be expanded on the mobile communication terminal, the display means 112 displays an icon on a content display screen to indicate the existence of the unexpandable file.
