#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves describing a rock, a crude oil and a hydrogen sulfide produced according to a characterization by chemical compound fractions. A kinetic model describing a mass of hydrogen sulfide produced as a function of a contact time, a temperature and an evolution of a sulfur distribution in the chemical compound fractions is defined. Kinetic parameters are calibrated from aqueous pyrolysis experiments that are carried out on a sample of the rock.
