PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of removing hydrogen in a nuclear reactor, in a coolant accident.
SOLUTION: The present invention discloses the system for removing the hydrogen generated in the coolant loss accident caused by a damage of a coolant line, from an enclosed atmosphere, in the water-cooled type nuclear reactor having a reactor core and the coolant line for cooling it, in a shut wall. The system is provided with a means for establishing an an ascending current passage and a downflow current passage in a shutter, a means for duct-transporting the hydrogen to the ascending current passage in a downstream of the coolant line, and for sealing effectively the hydrogen in the ascending current passage, and a catalytic hydrogen recoupling device for recoupling the hydrogen with oxygen in a duct-transported ascending flow.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
|
